Affiliated Dermatology is looking for Entry-Level Mohs Technicians

Busy dermatology office with multiple Valley locations seeking entry level Mohs Technicians. Must be willing to travel to each of our locations. Additional opportunities for remote clinic work are also available. Position is flexible with either PT or FT.
Essential Functions:
• Prepare Mohs station and microscope for the day
• Assign patient accession numbers to specimens and verify correct specimens
• Map, color code, embed, freeze, cut, stain and cover-slip tissue for histologic examination
• Discard all chemicals, sharps and tissue samples in proper disposal container as per established standards
• Ensure proper records are kept, including daily QC logs
• Follow all safety requirements, using OSHA/ standard precautions at all times and adhering to HIPPA Regulations
• Maintain lab equipment
Basic Requirements / Skills:
• One year MOHS Tech experience with references
• High school diploma required
• Attention to detail
• Focused
• Dexterity (refined hand skills)
