Open Position 1:
Sierra Vista Pathology is seeking a full-time Histotechnologist or Histotechnician to join an independent Pathologist owned and operated histology laboratory since 1978. We are a moderate volume, rural laboratory, based in Sierra Vista, Arizona serving local hospitals and clinics.
Primary responsibility to perform all duties required for histologic examination of tissues. Embeds tissue samples, operates tissue processor and microtomes. Performs H&E, IHC and special stains as requested.
Responsibilities include gross exam of surgical pathology specimens. Grossing experience is desirable. Must have willingness to learn this area.

three years or more (3+) experience in histology preferred. Demonstrated ability in all aspects of histology laboratory processes. Familiarity with histology, anatomy, medical terminology and computer operations. Sierra Vista Pathology is a a full-time Supervising Histotechnologist or Histotechnician to join an independent Pathologist owned and operated histology laboratory. We are a moderate volume, rural laboratory, based in Sierra Vista, Arizona serving local hospitals and clinics.
This the key technical position at our laboratory. Leadership ability and or experience is necessary for this position. Applicant will be working closely with you pathology to insure quality histology services. Addition duties including ordering materials, onboarding and training personnel and CLIA/ Joint Commission inspection readiness. Applicant will need to troubleshoot IHC and special stain problems and assist pathologist with IHC validation.
